I specialise in treating Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), a functional condition that affects the digestive system.
I have over the years developed a particular interest in how the body and brain affect one another (particularly during times of stress) called the gut - brain connection which are very closely connected.
Even the smallest of changes in emotional health and stress levels can cause digestive issues such as bloating, constipation and diarrhoea.
Unmanaged stress and emotional issues left unresolved can often lead to long term gut problems and can build up giving unwanted symptoms later on.
Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) can be a long term condition & symptoms vary between people affecting some people more severely than others often being worse during times of stress or after eating certain foods. In many people it is a combination of consistent changes that can make a long term difference to symptoms.
By putting together a plan to help regulate bowel movements using various tools, including Colonic Hydrotherapy treatments and nutritional supplements if required, you have the reassurance of knowing that although IBS is debilitating you can manage it.
Many clients have seen a remarkable difference to minimise their IBS symptoms by using treatment to gain continued better health.

How can Colonic Hydrotherapy help?
As well as relieving and easing the symptoms of IBS, Colonic Hydrotherapy can help the bowel to return to a healthy, normal state, including bowel bacteria which helps to prevent flare-ups in the longer term. For example, IBS is sometimes caused by the build up of toxins and waste in the bowel, which can be removed with Colonic Hydrotherapy.
In most cases of IBS, I combine Colonic Hydrotherapy with advice about diet and lifestyle. For more information, please contact me on 07984 199952 or kwkerenwheelerkw@gmail.com.
